2/2

Breakfast that was cold by the time I ate it. Sigh.

It's almost 5 (we have dinner reservations at 6) and I just realized I didn't get lunch -- just the pre-workout snack below, which I didn't finish, and had like 2 bites of post-WOD.  Not hangry but hungry.  Looking forward to demolishing some oysters and steak.




Dinner: Didn't want to pull out my phone in the middle of the nice restaurant: went to a restaurant with my dad in Crystal City.  Had tuna tartar, had a long discussion with the waiter about my diet.  They made a balsamic reduction for me instead of soy sauce which was awesome.  Have capers always been that tasty?  Obviously didn't eat the wontons that came on the side (d'oh).  I also asked for it with a wedge of lemon.  For dinner I had the filet and shrimp -- no stuffed shrimp for me because the crab has filler, so I just got them grilled.  Same with the steak -- just grilled, no butter or sauces for me, please.  Steamed veggies - broccoli and carrots - on the side.  No butter or sauce or anything please.  They were skimpy on the veggies... and the steak... and the shrimp.  It was "enough" but just barely.  I ordered an espresso but it never came, which is probably for the best.  Side note: I was starving by dinner.  Not hangry, but starving.
